This is a copy of one of the actual Christmas Cards issued to the Third Army in December 1944. It was written by Third Army Chief Chaplin Colonel James H. O'Neill at the request of General Patton. General Patton’s order to Chaplin O’Neill was to "Have 250,000 copies printed and see to it that every man in the Third Army gets one."
