Gravesite of General George S. Patton Jr.

 

 

The final resting place of this Knight of the Armor Force is located at the American Military Cemetery at Hamm, Luxembourg. The gravesite is marked with a simple military cross headstone and faces toward the graves of his former troops.

 

Mrs. Patton died on 30 September 1953. She was cremated and her ashes were strewn over the grave of her beloved husband George by their children.
